Little Richard
For this project, the task was to create the poster entirely from scratch, with very few initial materials available. The chosen design reflected the graphic style of the 1950s and 1960s, the decades when Little Richard released his most iconic albums. Colors, typography, and composition were carefully crafted to capture the energy and spirit of those years, conveying the authenticity of his musical legacy.
Final version
Later, as the rights to use Little Richard’s image could not be secured, the original design had to be reimagined. The creative solution was to focus on iconic elements such as his moving foot, microphone, and piano—three symbols representing his unique style, passion, and the revolutionary way he transformed the music world.
This approach allowed for the creation of a poster that was equally powerful and evocative, keeping the spirit of Little Richard alive without directly using his image.
