DUHA Association focuses on working with adults with mental disabilities in order to broaden their opportunities in various areas of their lives. To celebrate their 25 years of existence, the director, Eva Brožová, published a book about DUHA’s history and personal stories of five of its clients. “Duha” means Rainbow in Czech, so the design was supposed to be colorful, cheerful and celebratory. In addition to the graphic design, we were also asked to create accompanying illustrations, which would reflect especially the topics of each story: respect, life in a relationship, home, independence, and self-realization.
