Interactive Stand
Designblok 2025

Pinkpill Design collaborated with Raketa to create an interactive stand for the Prague International Design Festival, Designblok 2025. The brief was to design a playful environment promoting Raketa, a magazine for children aged 6 to 12. We developed an immersive installation that invites young visitors on a drawn journey to Japan. Inspired by our comic characters Jója and Meli and their magical Telecloset, we envisioned a space where children could colour, explore, and play across every surface. The floor became a giant board game, a small display offered MiniRaketa, the pocket-sized edition of the magazine that we also created, and the right-hand wall included a post-it area where kids could write and pin the places they dream of travelling to. The result is a vibrant and imaginative environment that turns reading into an adventure.

A Japanese "Snakes and Ladders" game

The floor is a giant board-game path. Children had two foam dice to play with. Besides colouring and drawing on it, the surface also functions as a game space. Shinkansen, yokai, torii, onsens and other iconic elements of Japan appear throughout the illustrated path.

On the wall, we also created a small game where children can find various elements hidden within the illustration.
